Ellas mastermind coach Otto Rehhagel says the team wanted to respond in their Euro 2008 qualifying match against Turkey following their 4-1 loss to them in Athens.

Speaking following the historic 1-0 away victory in Turkey, Rehhagel said: "We wanted to respond to that defeat in the first game and secure our qualification,"

"We played with our heads and our hearts and kept our eye on the target. I'm happy with the way we defended, but we still need to work on our finishing."
