Stelios: I’m fit and ready
Greece international Stelios Giannakopoulos says he is fit and ready to return to action for his new club Hull City whenever he is given a chance. Giannakopoulos, 34, said: "I played in the reserves so that I could put my name in the frame for Saturday. "It was to show the manager and everybody that I'm fit again and ready to play. "It's now up to them to decide who is in the best condition to play on Saturday. I just want to get involved as soon as possible. "It was good to get a game under my belt with the reserves. I got through it, that was the important thing. I now feel that I'm 100 per cent and that was the aim. "I got a slight thigh injury in the warm-up to my first game with the reserves against Manchester City and I had to be very careful afterwards. "But now I feel much, much better and I want to get involved with the first-team as soon as possible."
